Police in Charlotte raided a home suspected of making meth Friday. The home was located only 250 yards from an elementary school in west Charlotte. School was not in session due to a teacher workday the day police raided the residence. Police arrested one man from the residence.
The man has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of precursors for methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police confirmed they did find a meth lab in the residence which has been cleaned up by the SBI.
