6.) Local forensic labs now have an extension, from October 1, 2012 to July 1,2013, to receive accreditation and certification
7.) Procedures for hearing motions for appropriate relief in noncapital cases has been revised
8.) The move-over law, which requires drivers to move over or slow down when an emergency or public service vehicle is parked or standing within 12 feet of a roadway while giving a signal has been expanded to include in the definition of “public service vehicle” utility service vehicles and highway maintenance vehicles with amber-colored flashing lights.
