A mother in York County has been arrested and charged with child neglect after her children tested positive for having meth in their system. Police investigated the mother and father of the children for two months before making any arrests. During the investigation police learned that the father of the children was making and using meth around them.
The children were tested by DSS when they were at their grandmother’s house in Union County. It was then that police learned the children had meth in their system. The mother tested positive for meth as well. The children are ages 6 and 7. The mother is currently facing two counts of unlawful child neglect. The father is also facing two counts of unlawful neglect in addition to other drug related charges from a previous incident.
