A man was arrested this past Saturday for DWI after leaving the NASCAR race in Concord. The accident occurred on Highway 29 as the man was exiting I-485. The man was driving too fast which caused his vehicle to jump the curb. The man hit four police patrol vehicle and injured two state troopers in the accident. The two troopers who were hit suffered minor leg injuries
The man was charged with DWI, reckless driving and child abuse. The child abuse charge stemmed from the man having his 9 year old son in the vehicle at the time of the accident. His BAC was 0.14.
