Law enforcement officials in Lincoln County have started a round-up campaign to find wanted felons. The focused efforts began Wednesday morning. Primarily officers are looking for some who are wanted for selling illegal drugs in the community.
A total of 52 people are being sought during this round-up. There are 125 charges for felony drug infractions against the 52 people police are looking for. A number of the alleged drug dealers sought are first time offenders. The sheriff’s office is receiving assistance from the DA’s officer, Lincoln County magistrates and the N.C. Department of Revenue in processing the suspects once they are caught.
