Two men were killed by a suspected intoxicated driver this past Sunday in Raleigh, NC at 1:15 p.m. The intoxicated driver was driving the wrong way down Wade Avenue when he hit the victims head on. The driver and passenger of the victim vehicle were transported to the hospital from the scene of the accident but died at the hospital.
The intoxicated driver was also transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Once he is released from the hospital police will be charging him with DWI and driving the wrong way down a dual lane highway. The driver’s BAC is unknown at this time but is likely going to be determined by a blood test which may take some time to get results back from.
