Police in Wilmington were forced to use a stun gun on a man after he refused to cooperate with police. The man was suspected of breaking into a drug store early yesterday morning. The police went to the drug store and found the man inside. When police tried to handcuff him to place him under arrest he refused to show his hands to police. An officer who was at the scene had a stun gun which he used to subdue the man so police could restrain him
The man is now charged with breaking and entering as well as resisting. The man had previous charges of resisting, assault on a law enforcement officer, drunk and disorderly, DWI and larceny.
