A 24 year old woman has been charged with two counts of felony serious injury by vehicle, DWI and failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision after hitting two pedestrians. The accident occurred in Raleigh NC over the weekend at around 7 p.m. The pedestrians were walking along the side of the road when the vehicle struck them from behind. The pedestrians who were hit suffered broken bones and cuts but are currently in fair condition. The driver had a BAC of .20 % which is well above the legal limit of .08% in North Carolina.
