Being charged with DWI is bad enough. Could you image being charged with DWI twice at the exact same time on the exact same day? Well this is exactly the story that unfolded in Urbana, Ohio. The incident occurred the same day as day light savings time a couple weeks ago.
Mr. Niles Gammons was arrested for DWI at 1:08 a.m. Sunday morning for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. At the time he was released and issued a summons to appear in court at a later time. Apparently Mr. Gammons just did not learn his lesson from the first time. At the exact same time, 1:08 a.m. thanks to daylight savings time, the same officer who arrested him the first time once again arrested him for driving intoxicated. The arrest occurred after Mr. Gammons backed into the police cruiser of the officer who had arrested him previously.
