An update to a story posted earlier. After a vehicle appeared to avoid a DWI checkpoint, it crashed head on into a small box truck.
At the scene of the accident a highway patrol officer came saw the fiery accident. He risked his life to rescue two men who were in the accident. Upon arriving at the scene trooper Justin Mitchell jumped out of his patrol vehicle. He was able to drag the driver to safety. The other passenger in the vehicle was able to escape the vehicle
