A woman has been charged with DWI, Felony Speed to Elude, Driving with Revoked License, Resisting an Officer and Expired Registration over the weekend in Greensboro, NC. The incident occurred when an officer stopped a vehicle for having an expired registration. The driver told the officer she did not have an ID with her. The officer went back to his vehicle and upon walking back to her vehicle she sped off.
The pursuit lasted less than half a mile. During the pursuit she drove through several front lawns in the neighborhood and hit a sign. The woman fell when she was getting of the vehicle but did not sustain any injuries. The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m.
