I ran across this article which gives a run down on the results of this crackdown operation. In Mecklenburg County along it appears that 107 citations were issued for DWI. Nearly 2,000 cited in state DWI crackdown

Nearly 2,000 motorists across the state were cited for driving while impaired during the recent “Booze It & Lose It” campaign.
In all, 63,485 traffic and criminal citations were issued in campaign, which was dubbed Operation Firecracker, according to the N.C. Department of Transportation. The operation ran from June 29 to July 9.
Drivers in Mecklenburg County were issued a total of 4,992 citations, including 107 for DWI.
In addition, officials said they also issued 19,369 speeding violation and 1,803 drug charges across the state.
